Simmering Potpourri & Mulling Spice

Have you heard of simmering potpourri?? It's a throwback to years gone by and a natural way of diffusing the lovely smell of the holidays into your home. Each jar contains hand dried apple, pear, cranberry and orange with warm spices of cinnamon, allspice, cardamom, clove and star anise. Just add the potpourri to a pot of water on the stove and let it simmer away. The scent of the fruit and spices diffuse into the air making your home smell like Christmas! You can continue add water to the pot and use it over a whole weekend. Even better, it doubles as a beautiful mulling spice for wine and apple cider!
